Architecture and learning "visualization"

Architectural Design Concept – architecture and learning "visualization"

  Introduction to visualization

Few things in this world can not be learned with real experiences. The first is learning to die. Another is the architecture. Imagine a downtown building a tower of fifty stories an area of thousands of feet squire, with parking, services, gardens and then say this tower construction experience is a failure and it must be dismantled! Architecture can not be learned in this way, but to be an act of conception, he deserves real experience.

Design without testing must not interfere with our creative freedom in the formatting simple model common to survive the situation. Each a tower, is unique in its location, function and character, which should be born out of it.

Each new design is worthy of trial. To be sure, designers need to have seen and experience the building, in reality – or as if in reality. Art with whom, we experience buildings before they enter the reality – the skill with which we live places to be born – is called the visualization of the architecture. Visualisation in architecture, is to see, experience, go into the building and live before it becomes a reality.

Visualization as learning tool for Concept Design

Visualization is the most powerful and effective learning tool in the hands of architecture students. If a student can be given the opportunity to build his designs, walk and understand the spaces he has created, he would have learned enchanting if the volume was slightly greatest, and how effective that if the textures have been tougher. Then he would have understood if the type of mentality he has manifested itself in the imagined building as planned. Self-judgment gives first-hand knowledge. However, students being students can not be given this occasion.

architectural experience must be entirely based on visualization. Ability to view the clean design is the key element of learning experiences. Each design at the university is an experience of architecture. To learn from this experience, the design must be lived in. Therefore, the ability to live the scene of his drawings, at least potentially, is important.

The confidence that it is designed with visualization. Whether you know what place you have created provides the only determination to continue on foot. Error common among students is to leave the design to be carried away through the different opinions of tutors and jurors. The mere fact that the student is not able to view its design makes it does not know what design is and therefore allows to hang in the balance and be totally shocked by the opinions other.

Even this way, we may be out of successful designs, but at the end of the day what is learned that some opinion other. The experimental design is completely lost.

What visualization

Visualization must be distinguished from dreaming and telling stories – often of things done by students of architecture. Students Architecture from the University are able to present the plan better than the professionals to the world. However, it is a problem see if all the drawings. Once lecturer rightly pointed to a student that the student can draw is a great disadvantage design. What ever he draws elegant and beautiful they seem to be deceiving the student himself. Had he not capable of shoot, it would lead to think.

On another occasion, it was stressed that if we make students draw their legs instead of hands, they would probably come out with a better architecture. All this means is that the drawings sometimes leads to prevent the display, but to become a support the display as it should be.

Create striking presentation drawings have nothing to do with visualization. Visualization refers to the experience of building in the quasi-reality. It is to see the piece of architecture with all its texture, lighting and volumes in three dimensions. Visualization is something that leads to trace the history and dreams facts – led to the identification if is really going on.

If everything is done by architects have dreamed of, then there would be no need to display. What architects do is to make the dream a reality. Architects materialize the imagination in the walls, openings, patterns and textures. It is actually easy to go to the public and tell a story of those who in terms of design you see when you arrive, how daylight draw shapes shadow inside and how you feel when you enter the main space and so on, but this is not the display. on the display and more with the reality space that the history of it. Your story is not a guarantee that you make the audience visualize the design.

Visualization is to project what the area is really how you picture it. It is a means of display space without emotions attached. The reality of the space created is represented – but the picture so clearly and strongly that we can trace how it would feel to experience. To make someone see a piece of architecture is difficult, but the scope of this paper is to visualize your design of your car the benefit of your own learning.

How can we imagine

Visualization is a difficult art, but the most effective tool of visualization is the imagination. It may well imagine the scale, proportions, colors, textures, how light and other small decrease overall and as a synthetic whole, is able to visualize. This capability is difficult to achieve and requires concentration sound. Many students, even at the M.Sc. level, even after working for months, are considered as failing to achieve the magnitude of those own project.

Therefore, visualization must be supported. A tool that supports visualization is perspective drawings. But prospects can be identified as the weakest. The possibility that you miss the proportions and the scale is larger. On the other hand, it is very difficult to project textures, lighting, etc. However, the draw back to prospects inherent always, they may be a projection of your dream and the reality of space designed.

In this regard, which makes the model contains many important advantages. The models are three dimensional and they do not restrict your vision at any particular point. Its scale and proportions may be perfected. Materials and textures can be made somewhat similar. However, the biggest drawback of the models is that is impossible to go into the building. With them, we can not experience the spaces and volumes, and therefore they do not favor the visualization art space.

The most effective and versatile visualization tool so far is the computer simulation. The applications are developed Today, at a level that even the conditions of light can be accurately simulated. The ability to use all kinds of textures, materials and forms and the ability to go into all corners of the building are just some of the key advantages. Ability to build some thing to exact scale and infinite possibility to moderate, practically anything – the materials, textures, shapes, lights, for any number of times have to make a sophisticated tool.

Whatever the tools a student chooses, he must know how to use for visualization. Whatever the chosen tool, it requires practice and capacity.

Learn with visualization

To capture the essence of design experience , we must learn to visualize the project. Visualization creates first-hand experience – experience that can be reached after practicing for many years. Compared with someone who has viewed his designs for six years at university, those who learn by doing for twenty years are kept far behind. Whatever the design of the project you do, do not let her live in it. The experience of reality, what is the place you created and what it is rather than what are your dreams.
